BERGEON 30010 TAP AND DIE SET WATCHMAKING TAPS AND DIES

I have had this set for many years and used when needed. All the small bottles have 3 or more taps in them except one which has 2.

All the dies are original and the quality does vary. There is a handle for dies and a simple disc for dies. I used a pin vise with the taps. As you can see there is tape holding the box together. Early on the hinges tore through the wood edging so I used tape to fix it.

Sorry, it is not a nice repair. The Sizing Guide written on the lid is in 3 languages and covers the drill size for the hole to be tapped and the shaft diameter to be threaded. The 30010 set has sizes that start at.

30mm through 1.2mm with. This is a nice feature to have. 05mm variations are very useful because some threads are "tighter" and you gain the advantage to use them. It was important to me to keep the bottles full and replace any broken pieces.
