Complete Vintage Gateway Tap and Die Set (GTD Corp) -Original Wood Case-USA Made

This is a complete vintage, Gateway Tap and Die Corp. Set of tap and die tools in their original wood case. Included are the handles to fit the taps and the dies. Sizes originally included with the Set go from 1/8, 5/32, 3/16, 7/32, and 1/4 inches.

The wood lid has a decal which is not legible but it still has an intact latch. The case measures 10 x 5.5 x 1.5 inches and weighs 2 pounds, 6 ounces. With all the tools in place. We thought this was a wonderful little Set.

Our guess is that it is a bit unusual for its small size, plus more unusual for being complete. Even without the decal, it is a great example of fine American made tools.
