GearWrench Ratcheting Tap & Die Sets. GearWrench has taken the ratcheting wrench design and applied it to the tap and die application. The ratcheting handles and adapters allow for easy back and forth movement required while cutting threads on either taps or dies.

The 5° ratcheting arc with reversing lever eliminates hand over hand turning. The hex die adapters work on either round or hex shaped dies. The 5° ratcheting arc of the GearWrench ratcheting T wrenches eliminates the need for hand over hand turning allowing the job to get done more quickly.

GearWrench offers both taper and plug taps in our ratcheting tap & die sets allowing the user to have the proper tools at the right time. The durable blow mold case provides a space for every item allowing the user to quickly identify any missing pieces. The GearWrench ratcheting T wrenches are available in 2 sizes - medium & large - and have a 72 tooth count giving them a 5° arc swing and eliminates the need for hand over hand turning.

They have a twist lock guide system which reduces the chance for'walk back' of the die guard. The die adapter works on round and hex shaped dies and also fully integrates with the GearWrench Pass-Thru ratchet and socket system.

The user is also able to extend the length of any of the GearWrench taps and dies by combining the adapters with any standard 3/8 In.
