Brand new thread restoring kit. Set includes taps, dies, and thread restorer files. Set is not for cutting new threads. Set is designed to repair, chase, or renew damaged threads.

Use with a socket or a wrench. It will fix internal and external threads. Restores both left hand (LH) and right hand (RH) threads.

Includes a sturdy blow molded storage case. #1 Thread File Metric Pitches: 0.75, 1.00, 1.25, 1.50, 1.75, 2.00, 2.50, and 3mm. #2 Thread File SAE Pitches: 11, 12, 13, 14, 16, 18, 20, and 24 TPI. #3 Thread File SAE Pitches: 9, 10, 12, 16, 20, 27, 28, and 32 TPI. Taps: 1/4 to 9/16 in NC.

Dies: 1/4 to 9/16 in NF. Files are double ended and include a removable rubber boot.
